If you really want to support your troops, ask the government to bring them home NOW! Many of the troops over there are between 18-25, ask yourself, do you want your sons and daughters over there?

Officials say that an alarming new study shows that as many as 121 Army soldiers committed suicide in 2007, a jump of more than 20 percent over the year before.
The rise came despite numerous efforts over the past year to improve the mental health of a force stressed by a longer-than-expected war in Iraq and the most deadly year yet in the now six-year-old conflict in Afghanistan.
Internal briefing papers prepared by the Army's psychiatry consultant earlier this month show there were 89 confirmed suicides last year and 32 deaths that are suspected suicides and still under investigation. More than a quarter of the combined total -- about 34 -- died while serving a tour of duty in Iraq, an increase from 27 in Iraq the previous year, according to the preliminary figures.
I hope that when our next president is elected this is seriously not overlooked. It is truly incredible to me how this administration has sent so many troops over to serve and protect our country and then not giving a crap about them once they have returned to the states or injured in the line of duty. This study is very sad indeed!-

That is without a doubt intense. This is a good thing to bring to peoples attention. I think you are absolutely right that the men and women in the middle east need to come home now!
Another great point when making it something to consider when choosing a canidate for presidancy
