An example all should follow but few, if any, will

If Norway were part of the European Union, I'd move there in a jiffy - I would have no trouble adapting since I already speak fluent Swedish and can understand Norwegian fairly well. What a contrast between Norway and profligate USA. Norway is a largely Social Democrat country - Chavez, who does use oil money to better the lives of the poor majority, ought to take a few lessons from it, as should Putin.

    • The UK is under immense pressure to get their offshore wind turbines built.
"Nearly 10,000 wind turbines will be spinning on land and sea by 2020 if Britain is to meet a new renewable-energy target announced yesterday. The estimated fivefold increase in the number of turbines would be required to meet a new renewable-energy target for the UK under a plan detailed by the European Commission."

I hope they can pull together and make this a reality.
