Pretty neato if it works and MTV doesn't brand it to death ... "Citizen reporters" with cell phones capable of streaming video live from the built-in camera to a website (via 3G cellular) are being sent out to cover Super Tuesday at polling places. The video will be shown live on some MTV sites and on broadcast news spots, and the project is sponsored by them, Nokia (supplying the phones) and a company called My Frame who makes the streaming software. Whole thing is funded by a grant for innovative tech in journalism. Nifty.
