A small town in south Devon has been the first in Europe to ban plastic bags, and now everyone wants to know how they did it!

Some rubbish art. Art, made out of rubbish, that is. Makes you think...and it's pretty cool too.

Julie;..../////////This is fantastic in showing what can be done when people take it upon themselves to be responsible citizens. And what a lovely town! Thanks for making this. I hope it inspires others to become more conscious of the effect their actions have on the planet.

I think this is a cool pod. Personally I believe plastic bags are more good than evil in the world. I understand that it harms animals in the ocean such as dolphins and turtles, but I’m not one those people who just throw plastic bags or anything else anywhere. I think the pod has great movement, interviews, and shot dynamics. I believe going into more details on how plastic bags harm the environment will make the pod even stronger. Show animals who have been harmed from plastic and explain how many animals a year get hurt from plastic and litter.

Wow, props Modbury! I really like how you opened with the idea that we would be the plastic era, and used that as a way to move into the problem and close with a hope that if more people adopt biodegradable bags we can avoid that. I got this image in my head that future generations might find all these plastic bags and just assume out civilization was called Wal-mart, and that thought made me realize how big of a problem this really was. Also, great information! I had never heard of cornstarch bags and showing how well they worked and that they weren't any weaker than plastic was really powerful info. The characters were all so united it kind of gives me hope that more people can embrace such eco-friendly ideas.

Interesting stuff. Iam deff not on top of environmental stuff. Your characters help shed light on this subject but I would like to see more about what happens to plastics that causes them not to decompose.
