  • well, say what you will, but the rest of the world sees America as a whole history included, people, citizens ideas government, concepts, and I don't want to be associated with any of it. I agree, we are the masters of our lives, but america makes slaves of all who naively enter into her borders, so yeah, take control of your life, follow your destiny and stray away from those who would stand and proclaim leadership! BU-MAI-YeH Yeah!

  • first off i'd like to say that i'm not actually an Obama supporter yet...(Ron Paul straight up). That being said, this particular message transcends any superficial defecation being projected at max velocity on this thread. this sort of humanistic intention can define a generation and amount to great things no matter what side of the aisle one happens to belong to. as i've grown up, i have seen this country transform into something resembling a cross between an Atwood and an Orwellian novel. i think this perception is the source of the youth movement today in America, of which cherish this breath of fresh humanity filling the sails of politics today(...and let's not forget who set this precedent). i, for one, think that 'yes, we can' in fact 'hope' for a better America through an Obamian style of leadership.
    off hand- is it Obamian, Obamaian, etc.....?

  • I and many americans do have some feeling of pride for our country even after having its good name dragged through the mud by eight years of cowboy foreign policy.The invention of powered human flight and in the same century manned space travel to the moon, the elimination of polio, smallpox, and tuberculosis, the marshal plan, the speaches and dreams of Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy, Transatlantic Flight, The telephone, the internet, the history of recorded sound.     he is an amazing orator, i will give him that. i am just not yet sold on the producer part.

    ah well, at the end of the day those left standing on the democratic ticket are not so terribly, horribly awful...i have seen worse...
