The crisis in Kenya continues as murderous gangs roam the streets. As the link shows, this Sunday was anything but super in Kenya.

Jhaber, I think you do a great job of reminding us of whats so easily forgotten. Why is the UN just watching? A force should have been sent in weeks ago, this is really getting out of hand.

I agree with the above post. Thanks for keeping this in the forefront.

my frustration with the situation is that there is nothing that I can do about this situation. I was in Kenya the summer of '06, and I saw the people struggling, trying to get ahead and make ends meet, and the rampant corruption instituted out of necessity. But we know that right now, Kenya is not a high political priority in the world, no different than Katrina, the Congo, Sudan, Sierra Leone, etc...

This pod is a cut-down from the feature-length film currently being produced by documentary filmmaker Amie Williams, shot just before the elections in Kenya. It tells the story of what was once one of Africa's most stable countries, associated with wildlife parks and peaceful sunsets, with a democracy now coming apart at the seams.
