Hadi is a young Bedouin Boy, born in a cave in Southern Arabia to a family of camel-herders. But his life is a balancing act between a traditional and modern world. He is a trained zoologist and yet very much a part of his tribe, herding camels and living a nomadic existence. He is torn between the two, acknowledging his father's urging to return to traditional ways yet seeing his future as part of a modern world as he prepares to go to university in the West.

Awesome pod! I really liked the sweeping aerial shots in the beginning -- do you have a helicopter I can borrow or something?! The pans were really fluid - what kind of tripod head do you use? The narration is dynamic and interesting - not a bore to listen to. Hadi is a great character, but I would've liked to see a bit more of him and hear more about his inner conflict. Maybe talking about what he thinks Univeristy will be like in the West or something... Other than that, this is a solid piece of work.

Gorgeous photography! All of the shots helped tell the story visually and contributed to bringing the surrounding environment to life. This is a brief but compelling look into the lives of nomadic camel herders. While Hadi is an intersting character, I would have liked to have heard more from some of the other members of the group, especially some of the elders who have experienced the movement toward modernity more fully.

Really well done. I love the language they use to talk to the camels. Is that an aromatic plant, maybe rosemary, that they hang the camel meat on?
