Japan has finally bio-engineered the perfect valentines gift for your whiny emo girlfriend. That's right, for the depressed romantic in all of us, science has finally given us blue roses.
Now all we need are some black ones for the goth set and pretty soon all the outcasts will be smelling like, well, roses.

If you can't afford to be buying your loved one expensive 'bio-engineered' flowers then why not draw her a romantic picture with these crayons for emos.

Awesome! but they look pretty purple to me (which still rocks since they're such a lovely shade of my favorite color). It'd be really cool if scientists could some how in the future engineer roses with rainbow, clear, or glow-in-the-dark petals.
