The World Bank says that the quality of education in the Arab states is falling behind other regions. If they they are to tackle unemployment, urgent reform is needed.
The region has not seen the increase in literacy and school enrollment witnessed in Asia and Latin America. Further, Dijibouti, Yemen, Iraq, and Morocco were ranked as the worst education reformers.
I wonder if war going on in some of the countries is partly to blame?
