George Bush's presidential library is proposed to be built on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas. As you can well imagine, this has not been without its problems. SMU is directly governed by the United Methodist Church, who has expressed strong criticisms against the project stating that building the library on university ground would unofficially tie the church to Pres. Bush, a move they are obviously reluctant to make for obvious reasons.
This article is about how some students are being forced from their homes in order to make room for the library

Just a sidenote, the elder Bush's library is located on the campus of Texas A&M in College Station

Just goes to show the strong connection between Dallas and the Bush Family. SO great to see the Kennedy's support Obama...and you wonder why Kennedy Jr is dead and why the Bush adminstration "hung" Colin Powell for the world to see. But the elite of Dallas just hang on the Bush's coat-tails and work it for all its' worth. No worries, no cares. They are rich. They are smart. They are fantastic. Plus, they got a library. It's probably being built on an old slave graveyard--I wouldn't doubt it.
