Grrr, don't get me started on the super delegates. If McCain keeps it up the way he has been, the unpledged delegates on the Republican side aren't really going to matter, as they shouldn't. But if the Democratic nominee is chosen by the super delegates, and if they vote according to their pledges rather than according to voter preference, I am going to be really annoyed. I was encouraged last night though - Donna Brazile was on CNN last night, and she said that as a super delegate, she would vote the way of the voters, rather than according to any pledges she may have made (she advised Bill Clinton during his campaigns, and then was campaign manager for Al's run in 2000).

It seems to me Super d's is just like going back to the smoke filled rooms. I feel like giving up!

Super Delegates = Smoke-filled rooms. What has changed?

The folks warn out need to understand the actual process. ELECT state and local candidates that become delegates. Both parties are the same at this point.... socialist/communist. They lie, they spend and tax the heck out of the rest of us.
If it matters? How would you have voted on April 15th? I would have voted not to have to write them a check.-
