The youth vote is gaining more and more momentum. Follow a bunch of Los Angeles college students to their "debate tailgate" and hear why you need to vote if you're a student, and if you're a candidate, you better be paying attention to them.

Wow. Good to see. If the internet plays as important a role in getting more youth to vote as these folks, the turnout will be HUGE! Let's vote!

I agree we need more youth to vote but please encourage intelligent voting. Please, no more votes based on superficial things (i.e. religion, gender, race, philantropy, etc.). The past 16 years should be reason enough to not vote using superficial arguments.
Vote intelligently! -
...or voting based on music videos, no matter how inspirational they might be from will.i.am.

Gee. I dunno. Stevie Wonder singing "O-b-a-m-a" to the scales was so gosh darn creative that I was tempted to change my mind.
Okay. Busted. If that kind of thing influences a voter...Heaven, help us all. -
you guys are doing such an amazing thing for all voting young adults. it is so important that our vote is heard just as loud as older adults. way to go!

Great job Julie, I think seeing young people this excited about voting is impressive and I thought it was interesting how these voters clashed with the ideas of the baby boomers. The one student just comes out and says it, but the other says that they are going to change things using the system, which I thought of as a stab at the protesters of the '60s who were totally against the system. I'm still not sure how I feel about the statement, but it is interesting to see how the two different generations take an interest in politics. OH and I really like the goat.
