As a bartender for 6 years, I can attest to the fact that Valentine's Day can get pretty sloppy...girls tend to get really drunk, everyone seems ready and willing to hook up with whoever...
All of this is not necessarily a bad combination for a bartender, however. I received my first ever $100 tip on my first Valentine's day at the bar from a regular who took pity on me having to deal with all the drunk fools, not to mention working on a night I should've been hanging out with my man. Made it all worth it!
