The NHS has released official guidelines for keeping well this winter, which state that people should be getting plenty of exercise between the sheets to ward off nasty illnesses and ageing. Having sex with a little energy and imagination provides a workout worthy of an athlete, the article at the NHS Direct site says. 'Sex uses every muscle group, gets the heart and lungs working hard, and burns about 300 calories an hour'.
