Celebrated fashion designer Chalayan has spoken out against the glut of clothing collections designed by celebrities with little experience of the artistry of the craft. 'Why does Kate Moss have to design a collection? It's kind of insulting to us because it's like saying – and I don't mean this personally – 'I can sell more clothes off my name, off my brand, than you can, even though you're a better designer.' If I was a celebrity, I would honestly try to inspire people in another way'.

...versus this...I think Hussein is overestimating how much input Mossy actually had in designing this collection.

As a fashion designer, I agree with him. Tho he needs to just keep doing what he's doing because it's worlds apart from anything Kate Moss will do. In the end, we'll see who has longevity.
