From the fine folks at Walmart: the toy set your kids have been dreaming about, a Russian RPG set! Also available: Street Heat 2 Gun Set. ... Which means there was a Street Heat 1 Gun Set. Thanks Walmart, you go where the NRA always hoped you would!
-
If we change it to US or British RPG does it make it ok?

No. I just don't want to give them fake Russian weaponry to play with....
They can play tag or dodgeball instead.-

Oh come on! GI Joe was considered wholesome when my brother and I were kids.... the kids with play guns thing maybe questionable, but certainly not news. What about the toy cigarettes now available? Now THATS some inappropriate shiet.
-
phillyharper, when you were a kid there were many who thought GI Joe was inapproprate shiet as well as toy cigarettes. Which is better...teach children to kill others or teach them to kill themselves? Tough call, eh?
The only way paradigms change is to change them. If we continue to train children to be tough, aggressive and competitive then that is how the future will be... -
good call, levingo.

It is obviously an accessory pack to a toy soldier. I see nothing wrong with this.
if you want to talk about keeping toy guns out of the hands of kids. I can use myself as an example. My parents were so anti-gun i never even had a TOY gun(although I did have GI-Joes)... i'm an adult now and own a handful of guns including an AK-47(my favorite survival tool).
I feel the topic of this post is more , deliberate, inflammatory and biased then the actual toy.
