    Wow. This story brings a tear to my eyes. We have so much to appreciate here in the U.S. I could not imaging living with so few resources and raising my children in this type of environment. It's deep that the city is called "hope". That is very powerful.

    uh..."when the government tries to help"? didn't the narrator state the military wouldn't let them leave? looks like gov't sucks everywhere. ThinkAbroad, you just best count yourself lucky you weren't in the superdome for Katrina. that's a dam *death* sentence there... if i was there i'd be thinking to take as many of those g'dam green camo bass-turdz down with me rambo style.
