Please take a look at the talents of Uganda's original skateboarders. The Uganda Skateboard Union has been successfully operating in a suburb of Kampala for over a year now. The organization is fighting idleness and boredom by introducing skateboarding to disadvantaged youth. The skate park shown in the video is the first and only park in the country and it was built entirely by hand by the youth of the community.
The video shown is a small part of a larger work in progress which will show the construction of the park, the history of the organization, interviews with the skaters, and footage of their progression.

Its not bad. Took awhile to get it going.
I guess I'd like to see the process of how it was being built and changing the community with some of these fun and theatrical moments you got. -
Inspiring! Africa always surprises... want a skate park? No point waiting for a shopping mall to build one for the youth... let's do it for ourselves! Love it! Love Africa!
