After being systematically ignored by mainstream media, whereby the rest of the nation believe only two Republican candidates are left for the party nomination, Dr. Ron Paul reaches out to his supporters to march against US Imperialism in the nation's capital in the upcoming months. His campaign for the nomination is still going, although the strategy has changed.
Many people have expressed confusion over what this doctor and congressman from Texas really stands for. To many, like myself, some of his stances on issues such as his opposition to US imperialism of any sort, income tax, and government/special interest control on environmental issues, are very appealing. But, he marginalized himself from the Republican party by his "radical" ideas, garnering a majority of his support from the Independent sector. Still, he is the only candidate out of all, including Democrats, that truly opposed the war from the start by voting against it (Obama voted for the war then rescinded).
Even if this guy doesn't go any further from here, we can't deny that he awakened a great deal of Americans to rethink what freedom means and how integrity plays a part in politics. Does he deserve to be heard?

I want to make a commitment now. I will participate in that march in DC. Let's take a stand for liberty.
