Now more than ever, sustainable fashion brands with a conscious are emerging.
So exciting and inspiring. I hope this trend trickles into other leisure/lifestyle products.
Go Nau!-

Sick ass pod. I have known about NAU for a while and it was very pleasing to see a pod about what they are doing. More exposer about these types of alternative choices is what the public needs. Overall, the pod carried me many places and the subjects were perfect for the story being told. Good Job McAllister.

I am elated to finally see companies taking action to find sustainable answers for their consumers. This is the first time I have heard of NAU but plan to check out more about their clothing and their charity work. We need more companies like NAU and hopefully they will help lead the way. I also like the idea of no logos finally someone understands that we are not walking billboards for corporate America but people who have our own beliefs. I would like to see more pods about people and their efforts to make a more sustainable market.

Yes I cool pod. Cool clothes. A great concept.
BUT $88 for a shirt is out of the range for most people. If the clothing was more affordable, they would make a greater impact because more people would be wearing the brand.
It seems to me this is another company cashing in on the 'feel good factor' of being environmently friendly - only for the rich. -
I agree the clothing is extremely expensive perhaps because of the fabrics they are using and as a college student i am not about to break the bank for a $72 t- shirt. BUT. they are on the right track and i agree if perhaps they could find a way to make their clothing more affordable for the average joe it would make more of an impact. But they are giving other companies the example that it is possible to make sustainable clothing.

I'm so sad to hear about NAU closing!!
-
Sadly, NAU is closing it's doors-but everything on the website is 50% off!
-
I can't believe it... I was so excited about what they're doing and now they're going... style and functionality together are so hard to keep. You'll be missed nau.com before you were ever experienced.
-
The closing of NAU just shows us how difficult it is for companies to "do the right thing" while still creating a great product. This comes with a cost both to the consumer and to the business owner. The market is competitive but consumers will pay more for a product that is intelligent.
