Reconstructikon 1: Washing

  • very interesting. I like how cinematic it was, I wasn't sure where it was going in the end, but I certainly didn't expect that!

  • Simon, this is a really sweet piece - and very honest, so thanks for uploading. Found myself welling up at the end...

  • Any film with a close up of your nose hair Simon has to be a winner. Not as good as the epic Lola Malady, of course.

  • Sarah, Lina and Tom, thanks for your comments. I'm really pleased to hear that you enjoyed it.

Barbor-Might, I take your point, but at least the cinematography was better :p

  • i've watched this 3 times so far - very compelling. I loved the take on american splendour. Very witty, a little bit cheesy but with a very unexpected and truthful twist. I was expecting something more dark, perhaps sinister - slightly confused over when you were being yourself on camera and when if at all you were in character. I thought the sound track was brilliant and brought the whole piece together. I think I would have licked to see you looking more 'worn' on the video as opposed to so well groomed - it seemed to clash with the state of your flat.
