The profile of their needs has to be raised as this represents a national disgrace.

There are so many people living in horrible conditions in "developed" nations... I don't see how we can allow it. Thanks for your efforts.

Hi there - this is a very important subject and thank you for uploading. That said, I don't feel the piece is as successful as it could be. Simply showing the conditions but without any further context, interview or further information simply doesn't convey what it is you are trying to say... Also, the score is a little on the over-dramatic side and as such more likely to alienate an audience who feel that the filmmaker might be over-egging the cake, slightly, if not make your efforts seem amateur and possibly even a little comical. Interviews with residents, letting us know where we are geographically, sociologically and economically would really strengthen this piece, as would an approach to the MPs you are calling to account. Let us know if you need any advice or help with this! We'd be glad to help.

Thanks for your comments. I think it is important to note that this is one of three and was done by a first timer. Whilst interviewing residents would be great, some have to be done via podcast where the person can say their piece without being identified, unfortunately, although we are supposed to live in a democracy, the reality is some a in fear of come back if they do speak up.
Approach's to the MP's ave been made via these recordings, phone, email and in writing as well as formal lobbying.
The three videos should be hard hitting, how do you get your point across if you go softly softly and are one of the few prepared to do it.
I'd love a TV crew to come and vist and would welcome them with open arms, eventhough various forms of media have been approached only two radio stations have shown any interest.
