This is an often-hilarious often-deplorable account of one insider's life during the music industry's "last hurrah," i.e., the days of the CD, before anyone knew what Napster or mp3s were. It's no wonder no one saw the digital revolution coming.

Every industry loves to adopt that Hunter quote. Journalists especially love to latch on to it when writing about the music industry but it was originally aimed at the TV biz.
