HyperCoSMic Painting Jam

Visionary artists Alex and Allyson Grey had a live painting performance at Club 740 in Los Angeles. Painting on stage with them were renowned tattoo artist Guy Aitchison and his wife, multimedia artist Michele Wortman; also performing were dark surrealist Chet Zar, tattoo portrait painter Shawn Barber and Corey Miller from the hit series LA Ink. DJ's performed all evening, including Satchi Om and Desert Dwellers. This performance was a fundraiser for Alex and Allyson Grey's Chapel Of Sacred Mirrors, and brought in a large and lively crowd. This mini-documentary is a colorful, fast-paced summary of this groundbreaking event.

    i did a live painting in a club with models way, way back in time...it's both frightening and exhilerating.

    My friend and I were able to attend this show on 1-18 in LA! It was surreal...the artists and fans together in that special theater-CLUB 740, that night was unforgettable!
    I hope there will be more CoSM events that we can attend. If you can ever attend one, do it. To be there where a MASTER like ALex Grey and his wife Allyson were creating was very special. ...ALEX : PLEASE COME BACK TO LA soon!!! .... glad to support your endeavor. take care!

    ~what a mystically charged event...

    looking at this film.. I get the feeling of an ocean current pulling me out to a sea of canvas and paint in which one is submersed in waves of mental ecstasy.
