  • Torturing terrorists just gives terrorists more motivation to torture and kill more troops and civilians. Not to mention the defined act of Torture is deemed illegal in the Geneva Conventions. It's funny how you condemn illegal immigrants from breaking the law yet support your own government when they do the same. Also something else you probably didn't know is that tortured prisioners testimonies are often thrown out of court as tampered evidence. But there's also the fact that not every detainee is a terrorist, but every detainee is held under the grounds of terrorism. So that means innocent men are beind tortured under the suspicion of terrorism. Please do not tell me you are nieve enough to believe that every detainee captured is a terrorist either. I'm beginning to wonder if you really believe this or if it's just an act to mess with people. You're really uninformed on most the topics you cover and focus more on personal opinions, beliefs, and heresay rather than actual facts. But that's something else you learned from Bill O'Reilly I suppose...
  • Umm... there allowing illegal immigrants in is completely different from supporting Torture in war. Torture in war is something that could aid our national security wheras allowing illegal immigration actually hurts our national security. Yes i do know that many times there testimonies are thrown out, but that doesn't mean that they still don't give up valuable information that doesn't have to do with their own trial. You are right, not every detainee ends up to be a terrorist. But if our intelligence thinks the person might be, i have absolutely no problem with toture. And I think i trust our government more than people like you in distiguishing whether someone is a terrorist or not. Please dont tell me that YOU are naive enough to think that every detainee is innocent. I think that i am actually alot more informed than a majority of posters on this site. And by the way, almost all the videos on this site are personal opinions, which is basically what the VIEWPOINTS section is for. :P

  • Jesus wept the moment you posted this video. I cannot even feel safe walking the streets anymore knowing that there are right wing nut cases like you on the loose. Even if one ignores the screaming moral atrocities of waterboarding, how can you justify it? All you can get is, at best, yes or no answers, AND on top of that, your only gonna get the answer you want to hear. If you had someone torturing you, and you said the truth, and they CONTINUED torturing you, would you continue to tell the truth? or would you tell the person with the bag over your head what they want to hear so they will stop forcing you into a state of simulated drowning and asphyxiation? THINK about these things before you post your retarded opinions on this website, and STOP making me embarrassed to live in the same goddamned country as you.

  • In your own Mantra: The law IS the law, and deserves to be upheld. At least, that is my gist of your POV on legal matters. So in other words, you think that national law should be upheld with no exceptions while international law should be broken at the cost of others lives for the sake of 'national security'. In addition, you have no actual proof or basis that torture is preventing terrorist attacks today or providing useful information for preventing terrorist attacks in the near future. The Red Cross estimated that in 2004 "that 70 percent to 90 percent of Iraqi detainees were arrested by mistake"(You can thank the AP for those numbers). You also go on to say, "You are right, not every detainee ends up to be a terrorist. But if our intelligence thinks the person might be, i have absolutely no problem with toture. And I think i trust our government more than people like you in distiguishing whether someone is a terrorist or not." Since you so blindly follow your government, even if you yourself were suspected of terrorism or conspiracy to commit terrorism, detained and thoroughly tortured would still trust your government in such a grevious error from suspicion? Our 'Intelligence' is not infallable, because we are not infallable. No matter how hard you want to deny it down to your very bones, your viewpoint is very askewed, flawed, and full of logistical errors. But you are right it is your viewpoint no matter how wrong it is. I sincerely hope you don't fashion yourself a moral compass, becuase you are very vengeful, cold, and unforgiving when it comes to the unknown masses of people outside your community. I personally think it's disgusting that you have no problem with torture whatsoever just because you think it helps you sleep safer at night. P.S.- Being informed means knowing both sides of the arguement well enough to make an opinion based on the evidence of fact. You are competely lacking on the opposing viewpoint of any of your arguements I have seen thus far. Do yourself a favor and do some actual research instead regurgitating the pundit rhetoric being fed to you, otherwise you will have no legs in an arguement.
  • Dude, you sound like such a little Nazi or Neocon, same difference to me...
