NIU and VA Tech killers shop at the same online gun dealer

It turns out that the shooters in both the recent NIU school tragedy and last year's VA Tech shooting stocked their arsenals from the same online gun dealer, TGSCOM, Inc. The owner of the business is feeling totally shocked and creeped out by the coincidence, as you would.

"Thompson said he has no way of knowing whether Kazmierczak found out about his Web site from the publicity it got after the Virginia Tech shootings, but the thought crossed his mind. Web traffic increased after that shooting, along with phone calls and threats, he said."

Freaky coincidence? Or something we should be more concerned with?

  • I would be more concerned with the lack of political debate over the gun laws in the US. Or the social problems that would lead someone to kill indescriminently.

    Then again, the worlds number one arms manufacturer and dealer isn't going to do jack shit. (is it number one, or is it that most manual labor is in the making of arms and munitions? cant remember)

  • You can't keep guns/weapons of people hands who search for them. Shutting down a legal website will just mean this guy would have found other means. Potentially more dangerous means.

    As of right now, we have people shooting guns. Other countries have suicide bombers. How are we going to legislate that? No one wears clothes?

    This is not the illness we have; guns. It is insanity and the lack of services to reach out to these people.

  • You watch too much fox news jennabean. How can you suggest that if people couldnt access guns, they would become a suicide bomber?

    Of course limiting the ability to buy guns would lessen gun crime. How would it not be a good thing shutting down the ability for anyone over 16-18 to walk into wal-mart or go on the internet and buy a weapon, that has the ability to kill tens maybe hundreds of people.

    The right to bear arms is an archaic law that may have been OK when the best weapon around was a damn MUSKET. Now a kid can buy a semi/automatic Gun with an incredible range and killing ability.

    And you think some of these loner white kids are going to be able to go through such shady avenues as black markets to purchase guns? Perhaps. But not as many.

    Get a grip on reality. Guns are not a little sniffle. They ARE an illness. One that must be purged before more innocent kids die because of some fucked up lack of social support they seem to be getting. Think about it.

    Still laughing about the suicide bomber thing. Thats rich.

    I am not pro guns, I am pro human. Take the guns away, the people are going to find other ways to kill themselves and others around them. A man drove his car with three of his own kids to a ramp near a freeway and threw his kids off of it? Guess what WITHOUT A MUSKET OR HAND GUN. People who are found out to be insane are going to do anything possible to hurt themselves or others. This is not some dude getting into a fight at a bar or something.

    Everyone brings up the "ol Musket" theory when it comes to have to right to bear arms. How archaic of an argument is that? You are not comparing apples to apples. It is the right to bear arms, not what kind. Much of the laws are written so archaic too; should we re-write the entire constitution for people?


    I would vote in stricter laws for guns; however growing up in the hood myself; guns are still available. The shady black market is what I grew up in here in LA, which included young rich kids coming to the ghetto for drugs and weapons. That is my reality.

    Yes laugh Social at the most hilarious event called a "suicide bomber." However it does happen and these are just as desperate people in their own reality as these shootings. I bet something just as hiliarious to you would be a couple of planes flying into a buidling with people in it... oh wait.. THAT ALSO HAPPENED.

    Beautiful people died at the hands of a madman. These killers have been proven to be insane and on medication, or have been evaluated as such. That is the issue. Not muskets or guns at walmart.
