A wave of vandalism and rioting has continued across Denmark for a week, leading to 13 arrests for torching schools, cars and rubbish bins. The unrest has been centered mostly in immigrant neighbourhoods through Copenhagen and across Denmark. Though nothing has been made official, "some say youths from Denmark's immigrant communities were protesting against perceived police harassment, and suggested Wednesday's reprinting of a cartoon lampooning Mohammed may have aggravated the situation."
Most of the rioters are under the age of 18, so officials are slightly stumped as to what the exact reason is for the unrest, though many people reportedly think that part of the reason is that these kids are just bored. But really, does boredom lead to a week of rioting??

Here's a story about the reprint of the cartoon. Iran's MP is none to happy about the reprint and according to this article:

he's demanding severance of ties with Denmark. -
And it was just about a year ago that the streets of Copenhagen erupted with frustrated young people clashing with police during protests over the eviction and demolition of The Youth House, a collectively-run cultural centre.

And incase you missed it, here's the cartoon.

It seems as though the middle east or islam for that matter is becoming more isolated from the western world, or maybe its the other way round? Im not sure...
