  • Very well done, as someone who has been looking for (affordable) housing in the city, it's not surprising families are being forced out of the city due to the awful prices of housing in SF. However, I had no idea about the school system. I wonder what, if any, changes will be made in order for families to stay in San Francisco.

  • having to look at seven different schools for your child that is not relativily close to your desired living location has totally changed my views on moving over to CA for a few years with my family.

  • Hey, dude, not all of California is like that. That's a San Francisco problem, not a CA problem. CA is BEAUTIFUL and incredibly diverse. If you just really like SF, there are lots of wonderful areas in the Bay Area that have GREAT school systems and more affordable housing (that is, of course, relative). Check it out some more! I live in the South Bay, and it's gorgeous here, but there's also the peninsula which has some really incredible schools. You've heard of Stanford, right???
