Virtualy all of the helmets worn by U.S. soldiers were shortchanged on armor, The company who made them lied about the amount of kevlar in each helmet to make money and was sued as a result. What company did the pentagon choose to replace the defective helmets? The same company that issued the intentionaly defective helmets in the first place! www.votevets.org has a petition you can sign urging congress to action on this issue.

This was wasn't about freedom or security clearly. It was about Busheney and friends making money.

I say we have a civil suit now if there is no longer a federal option. Any soldier who is suffering from a concussion or PTSD as a result of brain damage from shrapnel should sue! That is one of the most common injuries in Iraq and we may be seeing one of the reasons why.
