Immigrants who want to become British and settle permanently in the UK will need to pass more tests to "prove their worth" to the country under new plans...so THAT'S how they get in here so easily! I could understand THAT, oh yes, big, though easy mistake for the goverment to make a slip.

Take a look at this pod about getting into the UK. Many of immigrants only stay for the length of their visa, others try to stay on longer. Do you think that more tests and higher fees are the right way to go? Or as the conservatives propose, limits on the number of people allowed to immigrate?

I believe in the limits of imigration, as much as we need qulified people to take on certain jobs we don't really seem to like, the approching problems are overcrowding. There's barely enough room for everyone already in as it is, we're stepping over the green line just for more properties to be developed (which I'm also against as we're going to be forced to stop building at some point, then with NO natural land) and the imigrants won't only bring children here, the only thing the politicians in Labour are considering, but they'll HAVE children over here too, let's face it, they're not exactly going to be born into a family of Doctors or plummers are they? So more will keep being sent in non-stop.
