n oct 2007, seoul was appointed the world design capital 2010 by the international council of societies of industrial design conference (competitors were dubai, singapore, and toronto).
the seoul metropolitan government held an international design competition already in april 2007 to redesign a central area of seoul, 'the design plaza and park'. the competition winner is zaha hadid.
a multitude of design activities and conferences are planned for the year 2010

It's always Zaha Hadid. She needs to lay off and let some other people get their work in. Just Kidding. Hopefully when I graduate from architecture school, she'll have retired so that I can get jobs like this.

JUST ANOTHER REASON TO LOVE THE CRAZY KOREANS!!! no seriously i cant wait to get out of high school so i can go to architecture school !! just gota find the best one lol but i cant wait till i vist korea !! lol KOREA ROCKS!!

Yeah, I love architecture. I'm only in my second semester, but Boston Architectural College is amazing. If you think Korea rocks, check out Dubai. Now thats a city I'd like to design in.
