During a college comedy tour, Will Ferrell told the student audience that he'd be willing to totally finance the Arrested Development movie, but it would have to be on his terms. He was wearing a bikini print t-shirt and driving around on a mobility scooter at the time, so don't expect too serious an answer. Skip to 2:30 in to watch it.
The good news is that Will Arnett, who plays Gob Bluth, was there as well and he confirmed there is a film in the pipeline.

I'm not a big fan of "starring Will Ferrell" movies. At all.
But I love Jason Bateman.
And Arrested Development = awesome show.
I'll definitely support it at the theater, which is something I usually don't do, what with all the sewage clogging up the box office these days. -
Jason Batemen + Will Arenet = awsome!! i love Arrested Development and i would defiantly see the movie as long as it isn't the typical "will ferral" type of movie. i loved Talladega Nights, but i think an Arrested Development movie needs to stay true to the show.
