The "last paradise on earth" is currently endangered by the very things that may actually save it: economic growth and a deluge of human beings. How can we steward a sustainable society so that the planet's natural heritage doesn't become a cross between Hawaii and Disneyland?

  • Great!! Sadly beatuful! Boicot MASSIVE TOURISM!!!!
  • This pod was well made. Sadly enough, this is what is happening throughout the world, not just the Galapagos with regards to natural resources and global warming. We have the opportunity to change history and it is in our hands. Can we pull together as a community to save the earth that has been so good to us? Or will we allow it to be destroyed right in front of our eyes?

  • Well done and sad. There need to be restrictions put into place regarding the amount of tourists going to these islands and having their tours be eco-friendly. Unfortunately, in places where profit helps out countries that are in such extreme poverty it is a moral struggle. But our planet is worth more than a handful of tourists who only go to these places to have a place to go without respecting the history and diversity.
