Strong Signs in the Lone Star State for Obama

If Hillary Clinton wants to kickstart a comeback, she needs to win Texas on March 4. But don't take it from me. Just ask her most devoted surrogate--some guy named Bill Clinton. "If she wins Texas and Ohio, I think she will be the nominee," the former prez told a crowd in Beaumont on Wednesday. "If you don't deliver for her, I don't think she can be. It's all on you."

Unfortunately, her standing in the Lone Star State is getting shakier by the day.

If all the people the Clintons have helped over the years don't repay them with a vote for Hillary, then they will all get what they deserve, LESS.

If the Latino population, across the board, doesn't come to Hillary Clinton's aid at this crucial time, then it will say a heck of a lot about their level of intelligence and their loyalties to those who have done the most for them.

If we pass up this opportunity to utilize Hillary's extensive knowledge, experience, dedication and willingness to put her life on the line for us, then the country will deserve what it settles for and that irritates me to no end that I live amongst that many ignorant people.

Sorry, ObiaMan, although I agree the Clinton's have worked hard on may issues on behalf of this country, I will never feel I "owe" any candidate my vote. I'm looking for a fresh face that can unite this country so we can get passed the division that has us paralyzed from moving forward. Because I believe Obama will actually listen to the people he will represent and is more likely to respond in kind - does that make me ignorant?

Old ignorant me wants a fresh face and new people in Washington. I'm sick to death of the Clinton and Bush families. They bring the same tired old hacks with them. We need some new ideas and a President that will listen to the people instead of pushing their own agenda. The old school politicians owe too much to too many special interests. I'm hoping for a clean sweep so the peoples work can finally get done.

It looks to me like Obama has Texas in the bag. He spoke to overflow crowds in all the big cities. Hillary on the other hand spoke in a bank parking lot in Dallas, and apparently on a street corner in Fort Worth. Not looking good for her around here.

Hillary has her backers. Obama is looking for his, by promising pie and ice cream for everyone. It makes them feel good about themselves, getting out and ranting and raving a little. We'll see who actually gets out of voting day. And we'll see where it gets them.

It looks to me like Obama is going to take Texas. Unless that is Hillary's supporters are staying home from her rallies saving their strength for election day.
