Bob Dylan is spearheading a project to record a series of incomplete songs by the late, great Hank Williams. "He came upon, somehow, 20-25 unfinished songs by Hank Williams: just the lyrics, no music," the White Stripes' Jack White told MTV News. Dylan has enlisted the help of various contemporary roots musicians, including White, to write and perform music - taking these lost songs and making them found.

This could be really cool, I just hope that the songs don't get slated by the press. Kind of like Mark Ronson's 'Version,' but taking the words of good ol' Hank and adding Dylan + veritable other modern artists...Sounds good!

After all these years Bob keeps giving - like a rolling stone - Mr Zimmerman continues to amaze and entertain us

I do like Bob Dylan. But to say "he keeps on giving" is a bit, well...
He's found some Hank Williams songs. And he based most of his early career on the songs and style of Woody Guthrie.
"Bob keeps taking" might be a little bit more accurate. -
hahahahaha, simon's funny

Bob was less of a visionary than most give him credit for. But I like this idea. I'd like to see Jack do it, too. He does well with solo stuff. The stuff he did for Cold Mountain was nice.
