Hey guys. Just finished the rough cut and looking for some feedback. Clearly there's some sound work that needs to be done, and I'll need to do a little color correction. I'm going to add music, but I'm still searching for that perfect song, but when that goes in it should pick up the pace of the piece. Any suggestions are welcome. What do want to see more of? What do you want to see less of? Any bites I should lose or visuals that might help to tell the story? Thanks!

  • great work man, i would suggest "One More Robot/Sympathy 3000-21" by the flaming lips, for music. something to add a bit of smooth abstract style.

  • This pod is in really good shape. The only thing I personally wanted to see more of was art. You do a wonderful job of showing the art pieces of the artists that you interviewed and that's perfect, but I am curious to know what other pieces there were at the show. Even if we never know anything about them, I still wanted to see more work. Besides that, it may be possible to cut it down a little. I love hearing from the artists, but some of the things they all say are slightly repetitive. Just food for thought. I honestly think its great.

  • Good stuff Cody. That was really cool artwork, and I've been seeing the posters around school, but I didn't ever know what it was. This pod got me really into it though. I really liked your establishing shot of the hall with the woman lifting weights at the end. I think you definitely have an opportunity to exhibit even more work throughout the piece; maybe even while people are talking. I can't wait until you put music in. There are so many different choices that would work just as good as the other, but each piece would give a completely different feel of the pod. I'm excited to see what comes next.

  • Cody--most students get a bad "rap" for not being more politically active today compared to those who lived through the 1960's and early 70's. It's difficult to look at ANY year next to 1968 and not come up short.
This art exhibit gives students a much needed voice. It's insightful and interesting. Kudos!
