San Francisco was #1, WHAT WHAT!

I knew there was a reason I loved this city!

The last on the list: #25 Stamford, Connecticut

What cities would you put on your "top-ranked" list?

How did Stamford, CT even MAKE the list? The Office?

I'm not surprised that San Fransisco made the top, because in San Fransisco they are so much more liberal and open-minded.

And because of people being so much more open minded, they can accept that a women can be strong and independent.

Like, most families still have that old fashioned sense of the man making the money and the woman taking care of the kids. And this is engraved into peoples' minds even when they are kids.

sounds like a whole lot of assuming to me. Where's the causality?

    Brianjhong--

I admit, I am pretty much assuming.

But I can say that I have lived in many places throughout America and I have experienced many different situations and family matters.

The majority of families I did meet, even if it was subconscious or not, did have a sense of "a big strong male, who is the breadwinner" and "a mom, who can cook and clean."

Not all people were even aware that they thought this way. I have taken psychology and sociology classes, and analyzing people is somewhat of a talent of mine, so finding out they thought that way wasn't that hard for me, even if they thought they didn't think that way.

Key events can really bring out what people truly think.

I wondered how many in this list of 25 fell into the category of top lesbian cities in the US. Interestingly enough, all top 5 lesbian cities also fell into this category. Granted they are all fairly large cities.

Anyway, in response to woody, there are a third gay men, what percent is gay women?

what makes sf women so much hotter is...the beer. and the fog. plus, they ask you out and treat you right.

the metropolitan mix seem to be more varied than LA, NYC, or Miami. lots of afro-europeanese, arabo-pastafarians, sino-russianites, malayo-polynesian dilutions, semitic-latineras, and all kinds of other superlicious mixes. no inbreeding here for sure! oh, wait...

on top of that, party life is so thriving that more women seem more liberated here than anywhere else. plus, the clubs are dark and the drinks are stiff.

"smart, sassy, and sexy" are the common adjectives for ladies here. "bangin'" is reserved for the top 51%.

    Sues--

Thanks for the explanation. I guess what made it strange to me was that it could be said that a concentration of these "types of families" could be found (only) in San Francisco. You know what I mean? Thanks for expanding!
