Graffiti arrests in New York City have doubled in the past three years. In 2007, about three thousand people have been arrested. But writing graffiti is not illegal everywhere. 5-Pointz building, in Queens, is the largest building legally dedicated to this urban art in the city.

I've alway thought some graffiti, and I only say some because I've seen a lot of shitty graffiti also, is very beautiful and takes a very skillful artist. It is very hard to get a good design with no running. And the use of the different tips, etc, is tedious to say the least. I respect artist who are masters of this craft, in fact I use graffiti in designs for my label, MafiosoTees, all the time. And my shirts be fly.
