Check out what Chuck D had to say recently about a possible Clinton/Obama ticket, and the chance of Obama being in the White House for 16 years.
"I think Hillary Clinton will never be a Vice President, but I think Barack Obama could be the best Vice President, and redefine the role ..."

1. The Clinton's VP talk is a ploy to woo Obama's leaning supporters or neutral Democratic voters into her camp.
If you believe in a Clinton-Obama ticket is the way to go, you should vote for Clinton, then let her pick Obama - as the reaonsing goes.
Clinton camp knows very well that there are many voters out there who like both candidates. This VP talk will only serve to win over some of these dual-supporters.
If she is the nominee, she WILL NOT pick Obama as running mate. Trust me on this. How can she possibly pick someone as a running mate who she accused "does not mean what he says! Shame on you, Obama!"... Don't you find this contradicting?
She also knows very well that Obama will not accept her running-mate offer. Obama can never "turn the page" with her on-board.
All her talk is just a talk - a dirty campaign tactic. Very cunning indeed.
For this, I have to take my hat off to Clinton's strategies and advisors. They get paid *big bucks* for good reason indeed.
Also, if a person (man or women) cannot manage his or her campaign fund properly on or up till Feb 5 Super Tuesday primary, then the person cannot be a US President!!! The stake then is no longer just a mere $270,000.

2. Hillary won Texas because of Republican votes (many Republicans wants Hillary to win because they think McCain will have an easier time against Hillary in November).
Go the above below, scroll down and look at the section "More Likely to Win in November". According to the exit poll in Texas Primary:
* 52% think Obama is more likely to win in November, vs. 40% for Clinton.
* Of those voters who think that Obama stands a better chance in November, 17% of them actually voted for Clinton. These are definitely Republican voters. Thanks to these not-so-insignificant votes, Clinton edged out Obama by 4% in Texas Primary.
While the Clinton camp celebrates her "electability" in November, think about what these numbers mean. -

First, Chuck D, you're a genius Brother. You nailed it man. I mean that is our guiding light here.
JJWalker2, wonderful points. Let me shed some light on the situation.
As far as any of Hillary's allegedly contradictory behavior referred to above, I believe it is simply a great example of one human being forgiving another. Whether Obama did anything wrong or not, and I have no idea, I was high..whether he did anything wrong or not, Hillary forgives him. We all hug and move forward. The better for it. As far as your inverse situation, I'm sure Obama can forgive Hillary. You see, this simply boils down to the Golden Rule. Peace and Love.
As far as any kudos to Clinton's advisors, I want you to know that the Clintons have run an honorable campaign, and everyone in their campaign deserves kudos, from the bottom up. As far as their pay, I cannot say, except that I work for prayer.
Regarding your concern about Hillary's use of the money that her constituents donated to her, I understand your belief in efficiency. However, I don't consider costs in my equations.
Lastly, interesting set of numbers. I believe the numbers are accurate. Although, I do see a gap. They seem to contradict the actual results in the Texas primary. Can you shed some light on this for me?
P.S. CTC411dot.com, you dogg, give me the weekend on that one. Chock full of issues.-

Good call on the celebrity thing. There's too much of a shock factor in this society. The novelty of popularity wears off quickly when the candidates' policies don't deliver.

i'm a texan and a democrat in a land of republicans but we came out strong for the first caucus to make history. i was worried that if i changed my address from when i moved that something would get lost in the shuffle and i wouldn't be able to vote so i drove 48 miles to my polling place.
i voted for hillary and it was an EXTREMELY hard decision because i am a very big fan of Obama as well. ultimately, i chose hillary. I agree with Chuck- 16 years would be amazing and i would love it if obama will take the next 4 to gain VP status.
I'm shutting my eyes really hard and hoping those two band together to beat mccain...throwing more mud increases his chances of winning. -
Sorry Chuck--you're wrong on this one. Obama said he would never take a VP position, especially under the patronizing-and condesending Hilary "Shame on you Barack Obama" Clinton. The fact that she is "mulling" over the idea of having Obama as Vice is to fool his supporters to thinking that if they vote for her, they'll get Obama too. Total Bull.
First off Obama is winning by 150+ deligates and if he can keep at least a 50-75 going, he's got it in the bag. And let me say this, If Obama doesn't get the Dem Nom--I'm voting for McCain. I hate Hilary and the Clintons.-

Also this makes me think differently about Chuck D--I thought he was more of a Rebel. Sister Souljah wouldn't be so pro-Clinton.

There is always a spin to everything that happens in the US, I am waiting for the slight of hand, remember how florida turned from blue to red, remember when the next time people were looking at Florida when the ace was Ohio that time, so ask yourself, follow the money, where is Obama's coming from? Jena, Louisiana in 2008
Can you really see those people saying President Obama? This is still America, where is the slight of hand going to come from this time?-
