Infamous guerilla artist Banksy has joined the anti-plastic bag campaign with a new painting in North London.
Many UK retailers have decided to stop giving away free plastic bags to their customers in a bid to try and curb their impact on the environment. Banksy's newest piece appeared on the wall of an Islington pharmacy overnight with the owner saying how pleased he was that Banksy had chosen his wall:
"I am absolutely delighted - I think it's just fantastic,"
Unfortunately the shopkeeper didn't seem to share Banksy's message, focussing more on the pricetag his wall now may have:
"I've heard how much these works can go for."
