Studying The Energy That Surrounds You
Sensorial Sciences helping people to improve their quality of life by understanding the toxic energy that surrounds them.

Helping healthy and disable individuals to understand the real reality behind sound energy. The vehicle manufactories industry and it engineers lobbied the Government giving decibels measurements that are bias and not appropriate for human life or living. It is time for them to correct that!

Many times I wrote that you can not assess an acoustic noise event from traffic based on decibels alone. Who understands decibels? Not the general population and there is where they fool you! To assess an event of noise use these items I am going to layout bellow:

1. Source of Noise
2. Type of Noise
3. Range of Noise
4. Decibels
5. Frequency
6. Landscape Architecture
7. The human factor

Please, tell Congress and our Local Government that you are tired of lies and you want the true about correcting the decibels that is appropriate for humans not a machine.

Here is the question to Engineers:
- How far a sound wave from the source of the noise emission is reaching out at the spectrum landscape? I know you can calculate that "range" in meters or feet and I am sure you know that --these items described above are the most important ones to assess an acoustic event, not decibels alone.

  • Cool. Good information. You should make a pod on it.

  • electric cars make very little noise. imagine the change in that audio landscape.

  • That would be haven on earth. However there are always the possibility that the old "reckless dude" will be tempering with the muffler to make some strange and offensive sound. Our Country has not waken for these threats and assumed a humane and social responsible position yet. I'll keep on teaching until Congress, The Judiciary and the Politicians do their job right.

  • Hey Voyager, Thanks! I am working on it. I already wrote the script and I am rolling it. My problem is that my camera is an analog H8 and the resolution is not that great for today's standard high resolution digital films. This stuff takes a lots of time and production work as you well know about it.

  • Yes it does take some time. I'm pretty busy, but if I get a window of opportunity I'll let you know - maybe I'd be able to come up for a day and shoot it for you.
