"Well, apparently the maverick Texan's Republican presidential campaign is hanging up its Constitution, ending his campaign yesterday in a 7 minute video posted on his web site. Paul tried to soothe anxious supporters by letting them know his "campaign for freedom will continue in this new phase." While his campaign would not formally organize future events, he encouraged supporters to continue to organize on behalf of a broader movement. He won't really be running, but he wants his "movement" to carry on. We'll see.

    It was understood in the beginning that the message out powered the man. It was a people's revolution from the start and whether he won the nomination or not, the message awakened and ignited the fire within the grassroots and connected everyone who truly believes in liberty.

    Dr. Paul spoke on behalf of me regarding issues of life, liberty, and private property. Although I didn't agree on everything, I could honestly say that I trust him. I, for one, have been affected and the good doctor cured my cynicism, disgruntlement, and non-involvement with our political process. I was never apathetic, I just couldn't trust any politician, until Dr. Paul.

    And, he never said he was dropping out.

    The message of life, liberty, and property, must now be carried by us, the people.
