  • I live 45 mins from Assembly hall he may be a divisive figure but sorry, fans tend to have different thinking than administrators and Sampson whom I hope hasn't hurt IU's credibility was at least able to get the number one recruit in the country Eric Gordon. What is the point of having had the number one high school player for six years running if the kids don't play in our state arggg you hear me Mike Davis!!!! With the state of basketball here as bad as it is I am silently praying the general will not stay retired long. This is officialy a rant, I don't have many but this is basketball and bob knight and I am an Indiana boy heck I had to see a statue of John Wooden every day at school for two years.

    And he may not be out for the count. One of his former players and now a highly successful coach himself, Mike Krzyzewski thinks Bobby Knight may not be tossing the towel in for good. And yes, I'm a Dukie. :)

  • This is great! It's gripping and interesting and doesn't judge Knight. The objectivity of the editing gives me the room to make my own assessment of the man and also acknowledge his professional successes. In one little bit of film, a very real sense of the man, the coach and the world of basketball was captured. Terrific job, Mr. Macht

  • If he was any other persuasion he would be demonized for his atrocious actions. He is despicable on how he treats players especially certain players. Also getting his son that job like that is a disgrace ...The best qualified person should get the job not due to cronyism and connections...disgusting! I really hate what he said about the best player in the NBA like he is a saint.

  • Bobby Knight has always scared me a little bit. Nice pacing in this Pod although I would have liked to have seen footage of Knight interviewed by the producer or something. That's what pushed UCLA's John Wooden Pod through in Pod Madness for me.
