This is my first draft for the Toyota VCAM assignment. I decided to make it mainly about my brother since he's a serious car freak. Honest, he actually schedules some weekends so he can re-build his 1950's chevy truck. But this VCAM isn't about his truck. I'll save that for another project. This assignment has more to do with how much he likes his cars, in a somewhat exxagerated manner he he :D

Update: made a few minor editing changes to make sure that it looked as clean as possible before the deadline

  • LOL! I find it funny that already 3 people have already voted against my commercial even though no one can see it since it has yet to be processed and uploaded... sad really... voting against a commercial you haven't even seen is just sad.

  • Verrrrrrry Funny!!!!!! Love the idea and the tech work, it does need work on the sound sinq though..... I'm hearing speech and her mouth's not moving and when her mouth's moving, no speech....but it's still realy a great idea, very professional...Toyota should use it (maybe with a new car)....
    It's too bad if people are voting without viewing as you stated, that just takes all the honesty out of a healthy competition. Current should void out any votes that go up on the board before the ad,... maybe even eliminate any of the work that goes up under their name if they've voted and submitted under the same log-in address. Irregardless, very good work,.... best of the Toyota submits.

  • Very well done, I love it! It's that little moment right at the end where she winks at the car that clinches it.

    And I wouldn't take the votes against you personally. Folks want their ad to win so they vote against each other without even knowing what they are voting against. It's not fair, but it's human nature.

  • I know there's an issue with the sound not linking up. I sent an e-mail to Current TV to find out, because the audio sinchs up nicely and properly in the original file.

  • Personally I think having the wink and the kiss at the end with the girl takes away from the video a little bit...and I was a little confused with the sound not lining up, but I think you already know that. It's cool though!

  • KMP, thanks for your words :) yeah, there is an issue with the sound. I already e-mailed current about it because the original video that I uploaded does nto have this issue. Hopefully Current will be able to help correct this

  • Really liked the beginning but then something happened wth the sound and I don't like the ending. Do you have any alternative endings?

  • it's been mentioned in the comments Barkway, for some reason when it was uploaded to Current, the sound didn't synch up, though, as stated above, the original file is synched up properly.
