isn't this kind of abuse? a dog gets waterboarded? washington post= natzi's anyways

  •

Annigetyourgun I am not sure you think this is an abuse because of the dog or because of the Iraqi or because of waterboarding? I am glad it made you think that a dog feels as much as a human being does

I have great respect for your previous works, Wafaa Bilal. But I feel like i should warn you that this particular work will not reach your intended effect or message. Even if it does meet your expectations it will be for a completely different reason than your implied one:

If I were forced to vote, the truly "good" choice would be to choose YOU. You are completely aware AND prepared for what you are about to go through. Your suffering would not nearly be enough to compete with the dog's confused and betraying suffering...
Unless you could have had the dog consciously decide to do this, and even be its creator, this has no chance.
Now if you were to put an unaware, innocent Iraqi man up against the unaware, innocent dog... that would be a more intriguing vote.

Now I realize how legally conflicting that would be in this day and age (not to mention with the now much lowered discrimination towards Iraqi than a few years ago) but i suggest that, if you cannot make your work as best as possible, then it is better not to make it at all.

I may have misunderstood your intention for this though, and I understand your feeling to continue. I wish you luck.
