Ugh.

Our world is changing and we need to learn to adapt. We need to move from a mass consumption society to one where we only used what we really need.

The Chinese were asked what they would like to do to help with this issue and they said growing their economy
was more important. Too bad since they are now the number one polluting nation in the world.-

The best way to "help" the Chinese meet both their goals and ours might be to help them develop alternative energy technology. Then again, we wouldn't really want to create competition for us once we finally get our asses in gear would we?

Make the old energy tech obsolete and become the number one nation of sustainable energy. When we wanted to drop a Nuclear bomb on another nation we figured that how to do that. So lets figure out a way to change the Energy industry and drop that on the world. so far we lag way behind other nations already way ahead of us on this and we are loosing ground fast. We stubbornly sit in our foolish pride of an industrial revolution that took a bad turn from the start. An now it is failing our economy, our people and our planet.

And the Chinese are now spending money on strengthening their military. When this global warming deal finally hits big time, they're going to be sorry.

Yes, as they keep burning the coal. And they will keep burning it as long as it is bountiful and cheap.
