I don't know about anyone else, but I think that this is one of the most disturbing pieces of news I have heard in a while. We are clearly funding both sides in Columbia. I knew that this was happening, but I didn't have proof.
I know I am crazy, but this to me falls under the proof of a Military/Prison Industrial Complex in control of the Government.
USA Funds Rebels and they buy Weapons; Rebels seize power; Rebels raise funds with coke; Pinocchio Effect (the puppet walks on its own); USA calls them Drug Cartels; USA cracks down on coke domestically; People go to prison; US gets mad, Funds Revolutionaries by buying coke; Sells coke in US and Sells weapons to Revolutionaries; Puts coke users in Jail; Repeat.
At EVERY turn, Prisons and Defense contractors benefit.
I'm going to go be sick.
