The Dramatic Prairie Dog (nee chipmunk), Techno Viking, Tom Cruise's Scientology video and other iconic internet memes have all been turned into art by Czech painter Jeremiah Palecek.
Being the professional, devoted artist that he is, Palecek's even put brush to canvas and recreated Britney Spear's infamous genital flashing incident but he's in no doubt as to the validity of his work in this high art world we live in:
"While I wouldn’t compare this painting with Courbet’s “Creation of the world” I do think that she is at least kind of funny."
