They originally wanted to split Order of the Phoenix in the same way -- and I have heard rumblings they considered it for Half Blood Prince too.
It will be weird to see hwo they adapt the book. They really cut back on Order of the Phoenix and made it condensed... But that is nothing new to Pottter readers who have also viewed the movies. -
I love Harry Potter but the way their going on It'll end up being Harry Potter & The Curse of the Zimmer Frame and Hogwarts won't be a school but a retiement home for Witches & Wizards.

I'm just worried about how many people have seriously not moved apart from looking at those books and films...they have an extra to be kept occupid now...JK will NEVER be set free!

I don't understand why they're splitting it in two. The entire book is them camping out in the woods. Just stick with 7 and be done with it.

It seems pretty obvious that not may people agree with the film being split into 2, even us avid fans feel the same. I agree with Humdrum about milking it. Surley JK and the film makers have enough money by now. They will be drown in their own greed one day.
