Whose Royal HIGHNESS Exactly?

Image
Rebelutionary
The Price of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall arrived in Jamaica on 12 March 2008. Their Royal Highnesses and will be on an official visit until 14 March 2008.

Why do we stil Acknowledge a King , A Monarchy A Commonwealth when it is far from that the 'wealth is not common'. As an educated son of Jamaica i find it Unbeleivable that our young developing island nation should still pay tribute and lip service to a Monarchy that we are linked to by the horrors of Colonialism and remeniscent of Centuries of Physical and Psychological Slavery

    • Educated son of Jamaica? your spelling indicates otherwise as does your lack of knowledge which is clearly seen in your bias, The Crown is more than just one person, it is the institution which is the sum total of our entire form of government with our Queen at the apex, Her Majesty is not Just Head of State but also the State Personified, Fount of Honour, Fount of Justice and Commander in Chief and as citizens our first loyalty should be to Queen and Country. As for leaving the Commonwealth the only persons I ever hear advocating that are those who want us to be annexed by the U.S. who knows maybe you are one such individual, so think on that before you go criticizing the Monarchy as being a relic of slavery, horrible things were done in the past mostly by the plantocracy in 17th to 19th century England, but to use this as a basis to launch your unpatriotic republican campaign is ridiculous.
